A DRAGON'S CURIOUS TALE.
DISCLAIMER: This character may share certain concepts/similarities from Black Clover and Dragalia Lost, but he is an original character that belongs to the writer. Any and all forms of plagiarism, be it on this carrd or on twitter, is strictly prohibited.
WHO IS THE DRAGONSPEAKER?
Dominic von Hohenheim is the dark-haired man's full birth name. He was adopted by what then becomes the Lloyd aristocratic family in the distant past, which granted him three younger, adoptive brothers and a younger, adoptive sister, Jeanne. His noble parents treated him kindly, and he lacks for nothing.
Dominic's birth was recorded to be on Dec 10, and this has confirmed to be the truth, even if many other things about his origins - especially his early days - was very much enshrouded in mystery, as befitting the man himself, who perpetually appeared to be a handsome young man around 18 to 19 years old (Dominic himself preferred 20), but who had been sighted in different countries around the world for the past two millennias at least.
What we surely know about the man, dubbed as the Dragonspeaker, is this:
His true, blood-related father was the Wind Dragon God, Midgardsormr, The Lord of Winds and Storms, while his true mother had been a human woman, a healer and a sage, one who is a descendant of the elusive fae tribe of the Tuatha de Danaan.
He is a half-dragon himself, and rumours spoke of the man being able to transform himself to another form, that of a majestic, massive green-scaled dragon, the splitting image of his lord father.
He was once celebrated as the great mediator who bridges the difference between humankind and dragonkind - for the Earth was once populated with them, although their numbers have greatly dwindled ever since - an achievement that earned him his title: "DRAGONSPEAKER" and a place in history, although many had forgotten this chapter of human history.
Presently, he is living as a fortuneteller, occasionally receiving visits from his sister Jeanne, a dimensional mage who was able to move freely between universes and dimensions.
The famous physician Paracelsus von Hohenheim was one of his descendants.
WHAT IS THE DRAGONSPEAKER CAPABLE OF?
Dominic von Hohenheim was known to possess several powerful abilities. His profile is as follows:
LONGEVITY & IMMORTALITY: As the (younger) known son of Midgardsormr, the Wind Dragon God, Dominic is immortal and unable to age once his spiritual powers had matured. He is considered as both a demigod and a dragon, with the strengths and weaknesses of both. Even so, it is possible to injure and kill him, since he is not invincible, and he is weaker in human form.
SHAPESHIFTING (DRACONIC): Dominic indeed possessed another form, that of a massive dragon, and he is able to expend a certain amount of mana in order to transform to his dragon form. However, it is quite costly in terms of mana, and Dom himself preferred his human form. It is also possible for him to gain some draconic characteristics while in human form (ears, horns, tail and wings). He could summon a storm with the beat of his mighty wings, and his scales could withstand the steel and impact of most weaponry, both ancient and modern.
WIND AND AIR MANIPULATION: He could manipulate the wind and air currents to his liking, another ability which he inherited from his draconic father. This enables him to fly while in human form.
MANA MASTERY AND MANIPULATION: Dominic could also manipulate the mana of his surroundings, and coat himself in mana in order to protect himself and enhance his capabilities. This ability is strengthened by the presence of fae blood in him from his mother's side, since fae are adept in magic and the manipulation of mana.
FAE MAGIC: Having the blood of the Tuatha de Danaan alongside his direct draconic lineage, Dom can use a specific type of magic, specifically fae magic. He could create illusions (including glamour), manipulate other elements to some degree, enhance his own capabilities with magic, teleport to the places he already visited, and create elemental familiars, among other things. Spells costs mana/spiritual power, and the more powerful the spell is, the more mana it will require.
UNIQUE ABILITY - DRAGONSPEAKER: Dom is able to communicate with all manners of dragons, big and small, from this universe or another, weak or powerful. More than communicating, he could immediately understand them, along with profiling their strengths and weaknesses. This power works better with pureblooded dragons, but it also works to some degree with their descendants.
WEAKNESS - FIRE: He is weak towards this element, although he could use it for everyday life much like a normal human does. However, he is extremely flammable, and the slightest burn would immediately light him up. Fire would be effective against his dragon form, as well, even if his scales are tougher, obviously, than his more feeble human form.
WEAKNESS - BANE OF FELINEKIND: For some mysterious and unknown reason, cats hated him. Don't ask why.
(SELF-PROCLAIMED) ALLERGIC TO VAMPIRES: Dominic doesn't like vampires, and despised being mistaken as one.
BASIC WEAPON MASTERY: Although he preferred using magic if he had to, in a fight, Dom could also use bladed weapons (i.e: swords), although according to his sister Jeanne, his ability is barely passable.
WHAT WAS THE DRAGONSPEAKER'S PAST LIKE?

WHAT IS THE DRAGONSPEAKER LIKE, AS A MAN?
Dominic von Hohenheim is known to be a man of few words, often giving off the impression to be apathetic or even rude. He dislikes pleasantries, and he considered most things to be more trouble than its worth. He also claimed to be lazy, and that he enjoyed nothing more but freeloading to the fullest, until the heat death of this universe (although he also said that he could simply jump to another with the help of Jeanne and slack off there as well). Accordingly, despite his handsome looks and the mysterious air he was sporting, Dom's (his nickname) attitude towards love and romance was much the same: he declared that he would only date those lads and lasses who would let him freeload and slack off to the fullest, although he doesn't mind a few 'youthful' flings here and there. Even so, this was obviously to cover up the obvious fact that Dominic had never been truly interested in another person, be it human, dragon, or otherwise, since he was only interested in sleeping and napping to his heart's content.
In another words, he is what others would frequently refer to as a 'good for nothing'.
Despite that, Dom secretly watches over humanity with his sister, and if pressed, he would say that his moral alignment is Neutral Good, even if he claimed to dislike people, humans and dragons alike. He and Jeanne had their own respective roles to play. When push comes to shove, Dominic von Hohenheim is an efficient, intelligent man, and powerful to boot, but he preferred to keep a lid on the true extent of his powers, and exert the minimum amount of effort, "because existing takes up so much energy already".
He possessed a grumpy temperament and a sharp tongue, although he hides it behind a pokerface. He, too, is an unreliable narrator of sorts, and is frequently sly, demonstrated, for example, by this particular case: since Dom was often too lazy to even speak properly (human mouths are troublesome to use), if his sister Jeanne was present, he would let her do all the talking instead, and he would (as a supportive and doting older brother) offer various hand gestures as company for her words, if necessary. This made some, understandably, thought him to be deaf, but Dom never corrected these people, and in fact, he took advantage of this wrongful assumption.
...Presumably, that's what passes as his sense of humour, too.
In any case, Dominic remained an enigma, and his appearance and mannerisms betrayed the terrifyingly calm, dedicated man that he truly was. He achieved the impossible, once: that is, bringing humankind and dragonkind together, and more than that, he never slacked off as he so often claimed to be.
Even if a certain incident has unfortunately earned him the derogatory sobriquet of DRAGONBREAKER, as well.
The half-dragon, too, is known to be an absolutely terrifying man once angered, and it is worth noting that it is best to never refer to him as an "old man".
For all intents and purposes, then - according to him - he is the "quintessential cool type".

Firstly, as with any good story, everything written here is fictional. Any similarities etc with real people and the like was coincidental.
Secondly, thank you for reading this far. Dominic's storyline is mostly still in progress, and therefore, offers for relations are welcome. Any sort of 2D RP characters are welcome to interact with him, too, but writer will be selective (when freelance/not affiliated with any agency). Though, Dom himself will technically be MVRP / multiverse-friendly along with OCRP.
Thirdly, Dom is non-dating. Therefore, please refrain from doing things that would be direspectful to this rule, especially without the writer's explicit consent.
Fourthly, all the art used will be from Black Clover anime and visuals, since Dominic's faceclaim is Yuno from Black Clover. Writer will not use fanart, unless with express permission from the artist.
Finally, this character is not affiliated with Black Clover or Yuki Tabata in any way, and the purpose of this carrd, along with the corresponding twitter account, is merely for personal use/roleplaying.
Writer himself uses he/him pronouns and is over the age of 21. Minors please do not interact, as Dom's twitter acc and his sl will contain contents that will not be suitable for those under 18 years of age. Violation of this rule will result in an instant and permanent hardblock.
